A day in the life of Lady Penh

She might be over 700 years old, but Lady Penh is still young at heart. After fetching some water from the nearby river (old habits die hard) Ms. Penh goes for her daily gym at the Olympic Stadium and stops by the market on her way home. Her legs aren’t as strong as they once were, but she still walks everywhere.

After preparing breakfast for her grand, grand, grand (…) children, she fires up her linux-powered laptop, hooks up to the Internet, and fiddles a bit with the Python code that runs her free software back-end which in turn powers her website. She logs on to her e-mail and is happy once again to see that she has so many friends. She quickly answers them all, writes about them on her website, has a quick laugh at some of the comments, and glances with nostalgia at some of the previous editorials. Its now 7 am, the sun is shining, and she now has to attend to more trivial matters such as updating her facebook and twitter pages. After that, there still is the little matter of the day job…
