Saturday marks the start of the Cambodian Youth Arts festival, a 5 day festival that regroups the best young Cambodian artists and art organisations. Organised by Cambodia Living Arts, the festival is a platform for all the young and active Khmer artists today to display and perform their works. Meta House, Amrita Performing Arts, Epic Arts, Tiny Toones, Phare Ponleu Selpak… are only a few of the long list of participants and partners that contribute to the festival. To kick things off, opening night at the Meta House will include hip hop with the talented Tini Tinou dance troupe and music from the first khmer rock opera “Where Elephants Weep”.
