Imagine!

As the month of architecture goes by, our "guess where?" game gets a little more difficult. If you manage to recognise where this photo was taken, then you know you’re from Phnom Penh… and how to cast a still careful eye to your surroundings. Hint: it also means that you know how to look up...!

Now let’s look down. Can you see anything ? There was a lake, where some of us used to chill out, there are some playing fields for children, far far away – well, near Wat Phnom – several stadiums and all kinds of funfairs. And ? is that all ? Not for long my friend. 11 teams of architecture students have created their Imaginary Park of the Arts for the first Cambodian competition of architecture, under the presidency of Vann Molyvann. Let’s hope that the winning team will see its project come true... and keep on contributing to a modern yet beautiful Phnom Penh.

The competition will give place to an exhibition from September 24th at the exhibition hall of the CCF.
