Shh! You have to be really careful when it comes to wandering spirits. Every single Cambodian truly believes in ghosts. They think that mentioning them basically boils down to calling them by their name and inviting them for tea. That’s why our favorite busters would be very successful here, as they ain’t afraid of no ghosts.

Halloween is a sort of festival of the dead, without the funeral laments, incense smoke and orange dresses – unless it’s your costume – but with the overused « trick or treat » phrase, tons of candies, and scary-ish pumpkin faces. As you can guess, we don’t consider Halloween a mercantile business, probably because we loooove monsters, witches, zombies, ghosts, skeletons, and devils.
