Starting tonight, the French Cultural Center is hosting the EU Film Festival on the role of women in society until Saturday. Showing movies from Germany, Finland, France, Poland, Italy and more, the festival celebrates women with stories about today's women, yesterday's women, working women, football-loving women, mothers, teenagers. Women. Les femmes. Mujeres. Frauen. Kvinnor. Naisten. Kobiety. Vrouwen.
The festival starts tonight with the movie Hilde, about famous German actress and singer Hildegard Knef. For the full program, see here.
From 3 to 8 May, at the French Cultural Centre, #218 Street 184. Movies are shown in their original version with English subtitles.
